Charles Murphy

Charles "Neckbone" Murphy has been playing music all his life, starting with piano and saxophone.  At the age of 15 he found his niche as a bass player.  Charles has traveled with touring bands, such as Johnny Winter, all over the United States.

Charles has extensive knowledge of
his instrument and plays all musical styles.  He can play thumpy and funky or smooth and cool.  "Neckbone" plays a fretless P-bass that adds a unique sound to Soul to Soul.

His back up harmonies to Alan Lee's
lead vocals are the purest essence of perfection.  His steady, deep, driving and completely satisfying bass guitar grooves put you in the mood to get up and move!
