Jim Rinke

Jim "The Saxman" has been playing gigs since 1972.  He has been in the Galveston/Houston area since 1983.

Jim plays blues, funk, jazz, country, and gospel music all with a sound that pierces your soul!

His influences include Wilton Felder, Stanley Turrentine, Stan Getz, David Sanborn, Michael Brecker, Kirk Whalum, Grover Washington, Jr., and many others.

In our opinion, every band needs good sax, but Sax is not the only thing Jim brings to the band.  His flute adds a dimension you don't find in very many blues bands.  He can make it sing or make it scream!

Jim also backs Alan and Charles up with some vocal harmonies and an occasionaly lead.
